721 SERIES LOW METAL RELEASE RESISTANT ONGLAZE COLORS (CHINA)
Ferro’s 721 series of low metal release resistant colors are designed for the decoration of porcelain, bone china, vitreous china and earthenware.
The 721 Series of resistant onglaze colors is available only in China. This series provides a palette of 39 color shades that deliver an intensive color palette used for onglaze ceramic decoration.
Colors in the 721 Series have excellent processing properties in all conventional decorating methods including direct and indirect screen printing and hand painting/brush application.
Ferro also offers a full range of suitable media and cover coats designed for use with all standard decorating methods.

- All 721 Series colors are intermixable with very few exceptions
All 721 Series colors are intermixable with the exception of the cadmium-containing colors. It is recommended to test mixtures under the specific processing conditions prior to use.
Extreme firing conditions or too thin color deposits might negatively influence the firing stability of the mixing color
721 SERIES RESISTANT ONGLAZE COLORS HEAVY METAL RELEASE AND HEAVY METAL CONTENT
All colors of the 721 Series fulfill the heavy metal release limits of QB/T2455-2011 under proper testing conditions.
The release of heavy metals is primarily influenced by the glaze composition, the firing conditions (firing cycle and kiln atmosphere), and the color deposit.
Heavy metal release might be increased if layers are too thin, if the firing temperature is too high or if the firing cycle at peak temperature is too long.

Color Mixing

Color Matching
Ferro provides complete custom color matching services to help our customers develop new colors and finishes to meet specific industry standards and/or unique customer needs. In addition to matching colors, Ferro can provide formulas to customers using the base/tint system.
Precise color matching can be achieved using our internal extensive database and color matching expertise. All colors are matched to defined reference samples to ensure exact match and consistent color reproduction from batch to batch.
