726 SERIES FOUR-COLOR PRINTING LOW METAL RELEASE ONGLAZE COLORS (CHINA)
Ferro’s 726 Series of Four-Color Printing onglaze colors are designed for the decoration of porcelain, bone china, vitreous china and earthenware.
The 726 Series of resistant onglaze colors is available only in China. These onglaze ceramic decoration colors provide a palette of 4 color shades that deliver an intensive color palette used for onglaze ceramic decoration.
Colors in the 726 series are formulated specifically for the four-color printing process, however they can also be used for other conventional decorating methods including direct and indirect screen printing, spraying, and machine lining and banding.
The 726 Series four–printing colors for onglaze decoration are intermixable, which enables the creation of complicated ceramic color designs.
Flux 107211 is recommended for increasing gloss or diluting color intensity when required.
Ferro also offers a full range of suitable media and cover coats designed for use with all standard decorating methods.
726 SERIES FOUR-COLOR PRINTING COLORS HEAVY METAL RELEASE AND HEAVY METAL CONTENT
All colors of the 726 Series fulfill the heavy metal release limits of QB/T2455-2011 under proper testing conditions.
The release of heavy metals is primarily influenced by the glaze composition, the firing conditions (firing cycle and kiln atmosphere), and the color deposit.
Heavy metal release might be increased if layers are too thin, if the firing temperature is too high or if the firing cycle at peak temperature is too long.
It is recommended that metal release testing to be conducted according to the relevant standard procedures for all products manufactured under these technical production conditions.

Color Mixing

Ferro provides complete custom color matching services to help our customers develop new colors and finishes to meet specific industry standards and/or unique customer needs. In addition to matching colors, Ferro can provide formulas to customers using the base/tint system.
Precise color matching can be achieved using our internal extensive database and color matching expertise. All colors are matched to defined reference samples to ensure exact match and consistent color reproduction from batch to batch.
