Benzimidazolone Orange (PO36)
Pigment Orange 36 (C.I. 11780) is a Monoazo of Benzimidazolone range of orange pigments suitable for applications including paints, coatings, plastics, and inks.
These pigments cover the color spectrum from greenish yellow to orange. Used in conjunction with 5-(2' hydroxy-3'- naphthoylamino)-Benzimidazolone as a coupling component, it imparts red colors ranging from medium red to carmine red, maroon and brown shades.
Ferro’s Lysopac Orange (PO36) is a reddish shade Benzimidazolone Orange pigment with high opacity. Its offers excellent light-fastness and weather-fastness in full and reduced shade as well as high heat resistance in plastics, making it suitable for coatings, plastics and ink applications.
Lysopac Orange 3620C can be used in combination with Pigment Red 254 or Pigment Violet 19 to produce highly durable medium red shades as well as in the production of lead-free (Pb-free) formulations as a replacement of Pigment Red 104 (PR104).
We also offer Lysopac Orange 3621C (PO36), a reddish-orange shade Benzimidazolone Orange which is a shade closer to the standard reddish-orange PO36 pigments available in the market.

Providing Formulation Guides/Assistance with Startup Formula Creation
We assist customers in their product development efforts to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., usage in food, cosmetics) and desired performance including anticorrosion, outdoor durability and NIR reflectance.
Our laboratory facility teams support customers’ production and development activities, including accelerated corrosion testing, weatherability testing, heat build-up and total solar reflectance testing and migration testing.
