Bismuth Vanadate Yellow (PY184)

Pigment Yellow 184 (C.I. 771740) is a Bismuth Vanadium based inorganic pigment.

Ferro offers Bismuth Vanadate Yellow pigments in greenish yellow shades and reddish yellow shades. 
Bismuth Vanadate Yellow (PY184) pigments are ideal for replacing greenish yellow lead chromates in various high-performance applications and are a sustainable solution in lead-free pigmentations. 

All Ferro Lysopac Yellow Bismuth Vanadate pigments are zinc-free with the exception of Lysopac Yellow 6613P, offering significant advantages in certain applications such as plastics.

Lysopac Yellow 6601B
Standard grade Bismuth Vanadate Yellow (PY184) is an opaque pigment with a pure greenish yellow shade offering excellent dispersibility. This pigment is zinc-free and boric acid-free. (Note: Lysopac Yellow 6601B is not recommended for processing temperatures above 200°C)
Lysopac Yellow 6602B
Standard grade Bismuth Vanadate Yellow (PY184) is an opaque pigment with a pure greenish yellow shade offering excellent dispersibility. This pigment is zinc-free and boric acid-free. Bismuth Vanadate specially developed to replace the Nubivan Y-901.
Lysopac Yellow 6606B
Standard grade Bismuth Vanadate Yellow (PY184) with a green shade that offers exceptionally high color strength, low mill base viscosity and very good shear stability. This pigment is zinc-free.
Lysopac Yellow 6607B

Lysopac Yellow 6614B
A new formulation of Bismuth Vanadate Pigment Yellow (PY184) for plastics offering the right balance between tinting strength, heat resistance, light and weather fastness, good dispersibility. This pigment it also suitable for indirect food contact, is boric acid-free and zinc-free.
Lysopac Yellow 6615B
Standard grade Bismuth Vanadate Yellow (PY184) pigment with a very clean, greenish yellow shade that offers high hiding power, high light and weather fastness. Lysopac Yellow 6615B can be used to replace greenish version of chrome yellow to produce lead free formulations. This pigment is zinc-free.
Lysopac Yellow 6616B
Standard grade Bismuth Vanadate Yellow (PY184) pigment with a very clean, greenish yellow shade that offers very high hiding power, very high light and weather fastness. Lysopac Yellow 6616B can be used to replace greenish version of chrome yellow to produce lead free formulations. At the same pigmentation level, 6616B has a superior hiding power than a chrome yellow. This pigment is zinc-free.
Lysopac Yellow 6618B
Standard grade Bismuth Vanadate Yellow (PY184) pigment with a greenish yellow shade that offers high hiding power and very good outdoor durability. Lysopac Yellow 6618B provides improved heat resistance and reflow behavior in plastics and powder coatings, PE,PP,ABS, particularly for polyester based resin systems if cross-linked with hardener type Araldite PT 910/912. This pigment is zinc-free.
Lysopac Yellow 6619B
A special grade Bismuth Vanadate Yellow (PY184) with a greenish yellow shade that offers excellent heat resistance and light fastness in technical polymers like PA and polycarbonate. This pigment is zinc-free and boric acid-free. The pigment is also suitable for usage in nylons (PA6,...) and polycarbonates. (Note: 6619B is not recommended for PVC and polyolefins.)
Lysopac Yellow 6716B
Bismuth Vanadate Yellow (PY184) is a reddish yellow pigment with very good opacity that offers very good light fastness, weather and heat fastness in high performing powder coating applications. This pigment is zinc-free. Pigment 6716B can also be used in liquid paints with satisfactory dispersion stability provided that the tendency to settle, due to its high specific gravity, can be prevented by using appropriate anti-settling agents.

Providing Formulation Guides/Assistance with Startup Formula Creation
We assist customers in their product development efforts to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., usage in food, cosmetics) and desired performance including anticorrosion, outdoor durability and NIR reflectance.
