BONA Lake Red (PR48:2)
Pigment Red 48:2 (CI 15865:2) is a Monoazo BONA lake of Calcium suitable for inks and plastics applications.
Our BONA lake pigments are recommended for use in inks and mass coloration applications, such as plastics where there is little or no migration of the colorant out of the polymer.
Bonithol Red BB 4822C is a bluish shade Pigment Red 48:2 that offers color intensity, good transparency and gloss properties. It is a recommended pigment for inks applications including gravure packaging inks, and inks based on NC-polyamide resins.
Bonithol Red BBP 4821C a bluish shade Pigment Red 48:2 offering good dispersibility, light fastness and color strength with excellent heat fastness. It is a recommended pigment for plastics applications.

All of our colors are matched to Ferro standards or your reference sample, ensuring precise color reproduction from order to order.
Providing Formulation Guides/Assistance with Startup Formula Creation
We assist customers in their product development efforts to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., usage in food, cosmetics) and desired performance including anticorrosion, outdoor durability and NIR reflectance.
Our laboratory facility teams support customers’ production and development activities, including accelerated corrosion testing, weatherability testing, heat build-up and total solar reflectance testing and migration testing.
