Cersaie, held September 24-28, 2018 in Bologna, Italy, is the premier international exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings.
Over the course of five days, international companies – including Ferro – met with designers, architects, contractors, and retailers, showcasing the latest trends in ceramic surfaces, wood flooring, wallpaper and bathroom furnishings.
Better together
Ferro presented together with its brands that serve the tiles and ceramic coating business including Vetriceramici, Endeka, and SPC Arco.
In fact, the Cersaie show was the first-time-ever that all four brands displayed together, with all their sales managers in the same place. It was a signature demonstration of how customers can stay in the Ferro world for all their needs.
Launch of new water-compatible inks
In addition to meeting the team, visitors got to see first-hand two new Ferro products that were introduced at the event, the water-based DG Inks and HPLUS Inks for digital ceramic tile printing.
These water compatible inks have the same technical characteristics as older Ferro inks, but are considered better from a “green” point of view, making them extra attractive to buyers. In addition, some of the HPLUS inks, particularly the HPLUS5 series, are able to produce more intense colors.
Visitors to the Ferro booth, who hailed from all over the world – America, Asia, Africa, Europe, India and more – were duly impressed both by the terrific atmosphere created by the ceramic panels adorning the booth’s mini showroom, as well as the chance to meet with such a broad team of color professionals.
Overall Cersaie 2018 was a huge success. We enjoyed meeting customers new and old, and we look forward to continuing to build relationships and support their future achievements.
