Ernst Diegel, based in Alsfeld, Germany, has been integrated into our Color Solutions and Performance Colors and Glass businesses.

The acquisition of Diegel extends Ferro’s offering in decorative coatings for glass and brings its strong market position in high-performance plastics coatings, primarily in automotive applications.

Diegel’s array of colorful organic coatings, with options including both transparent and opaque nuances, adds both aesthetic and functional value to a wide range of glassware and container products.

Diegel's durable automotive coatings are similarly colorful and available in matt and high-gloss colors, as well as metallic finishes.  Developed with environmental resistance, they can be used for interior and exterior purposes.
