Ferro Pigments is proud to announce that Pierre Boulangue, Technical Marketing Manager for Inks, will give a lecture titled “Benefits of Pure Pigments: an Azo based Solution,” on Wednesday, October 10, from 8:45-9:30 a.m. Mr. Boulangue will talk about food packaging printing growth, market segmentation, and food safety regulatory pressures being faced by brand owners.
New specific and strengthened regulations have been implemented throughout the world. For example, European Regulation EU/10/2011 on plastics and Swiss Ordinance 817.023.21 have the common denominator that packaging may not endanger human health, bring an unacceptable change in the composition or alter the organoleptic properties of food.
In order to provide the required safety, principles of overall migration limits and specific migration limits have been defined.
This presentation will focus on how azoic pigments can be used to satisfy these requirements.
