Flowing Covercoats for Indirect Screen Printing
Ferro supplies flowing covercoats with excellent combustibility and depolymerization properties used for ceramic decal decorations on glass, porcelain, ceramics and enamel. Our covercoats are manufactured with raw materials selected to impart ideal elastic and plastic properties.
Ferro supplies flowing covercoats available in colorless and dyed options. Using a dyed covercoat can help to distinguish between different covercoats and to provide better visibility and distinction of water slide decals. The color also allows for a better visual impression of the printed film thickness of the covercoat.
Covercoats are printed on top of the ceramic decal and are used to transfer the decal on the objects of decoration. Our flowing covercoats (lacquers) may be processed by manual silk-screen printing as well as by automatic silk-screen printing.
Good printing properties, combustibility and depolymerization characteristics of our flowing covercoats are essential to the successful production of high-quality ceramic decals.
These covercoat properties are defined by the extensibility of lacquer used. Ferro specifies raw materials that deliver optimal elastic and plastic properties.
