The Impression inglaze color range offers 38 basic colors that provide high chemical and mechanical resistance. In laboratory tests and under industrial conditions they show no visible acid or alkali attack.

Impression colors have excellent processing characteristics in all conventional decorating methods that include direct and indirect screen printing, lining and banding, spraying, and hand painting.

Ferro also supplies a full range of media and covercoats suitable for all standard application methods.

IMPRESSION INGLAZE COLOR RANGE ADVANTAGES

  • High color intensity

  • All Impression colors are intermixable with very few exceptions

HEAVY METAL RELEASE AND HEAVY METAL CONTENT 
The colors of the Impression series have been tested according to EN 1388 1-2.

The heavy metal release was below the detection limit of the AAS of 0.020 mg/dm² for lead oxide and 0.001 mg/dm² for cadmium oxide.

IMPRESSION COLORS FIRING RANGE
Under fast firing conditions (60 to 90 minutes), the firing temperature should be between 1150 and 1200°C, with an optimum firing temperature on hard paste china of 1180°C.

For 12 2201 Cobalt Blue we recommend a temperature higher than 1180 °C.

Color Mixing   
We offer custom color mixing services which gives our customers total flexibility in tailoring color matches on-site, as well as desired gloss and finish.  We also provide testing to ensure the firing stability of mixed shades, mixing guidelines and recommendations for Pantone color matching.

Color Matching
Ferro provides complete custom color matching services to help our customers develop new colors and finishes to meet specific industry standards and/or unique customer needs.  In addition to matching colors, Ferro can provide formulas to customers using the base/tint system.

Precise color matching can be achieved using our internal extensive database and color matching expertise.  All colors are matched to defined reference samples to ensure exact match and consistent color reproduction from batch to batch.
