Iron Manganese Black Oxide (PBk33)
Pigment Black 33 (C.I.77537) is a black Manganese Ferrite with chemical formula MnFe2O4 and a hematite structure. It provides brownish to bluish black shade.
We are a leading global manufacturer of Iron Manganese Black Oxide (PBk33), a black pigment that is opaque to visible light with moderate NIR reflectance ("cool" pigment).
Ferro PBk33 provides ease of dispersion with excellent dimensional stability resulting in no warping or shrinkage. It can be used when neither Carbon Black nor Black Iron Oxide can be used for technical reasons, especially as a replacement for accurately sorting black black plastics, which are typically colored with carbon black colorants that do not reflect well in NIR sorting devices.

Formulated to Meet Rigorous Food Contact Regulations
Nubifer NB-803K FCP is part of our complete FCP product range that is AP89(1) certified for each lot (even at lower limits than the AP89(1) standard), and complies with the requirements established by EU 10/2011 regarding plastic packaging in contact with food and has acquired FDA approval (FDA 21 CFR 178.3297) to be used up to 5% in the final plastic material.
