Pad Printing Media for Ceramic Decoration

Ferro supplies pad printing media that have been developed specifically for the direct application of decoration to flatware or slightly curved items, such as plates.

Pad Printing Media for Ceramic Flatware and Dinnerware Decoration
Ferro’s media used in direct printing exhibit good dispersion with optimally adjusted viscosities specifically for pad printing.  Printing pastes formulated with our media provide the ability to create designs with a high proportion of color and intensity for in-glaze and onglaze decoration of smooth surfaces, including porcelain and ceramics, and underglaze decoration of bisque surface, such as bone china, vitro‐porcelain and earthenware.
Ferro Pad Printing Media for Ceramic Decoration of Flatware and Dinnerware

Our pad printing media is made specifically for machines designed to print one or more colors (4-color set).

Printing is carried out using thermoplastic pastes on metal or plastic-coated engraved plates.

Printing stations consist of heated printing benches and vacuum – article feeding benches with centering.

Pad Printing Medium 80 484 is a thixotropic printing medium ideal for pad printing, underglaze and on glaze decoration of porcelain, vitreous porcelain and bone china.
 
Thinning Medium 80 4085 has been developed to achieve optimum processing viscosity of the printing pastes based on the amount of printing medium used.  It also displays very good dispersion properties for making intensively colored pastes with a high proportion of color.
