SPECIAL FUNCTIONALITY CERAMIC INKS PRODUCTS FOR DIGITAL PRINTING
EXTRA DURABLE S1 SERIES INKS FOR DIGITAL PRINTING ON ARCHITECTURAL GLASS
Our Extra Durable S1 Series of ceramic inks are lead-free and cadmium-free. They are specifically formulated to comply with architecture industry standards and requirements for a wide range of glass digital printing applications.
They can be processed using the same standard firing and tempering procedures commonly used across the glass industry.
The S1 Series provides different levels of opacity for glass used in both interior design and building construction purposes, making them a top choice of leading architects.
Offering high chemical, scratch, and environmental resistance, these inks reduce glare and reflection. Colors available are black and white ink, with the option of mixing to achieve shades of gray.
EXTRA DURABLE S1 SERIES INKS APPLICATIONS:
External surfaces such as:
- Windows
- Building façades
- Balustrades
- Canopies
Un-laminated glass with both sides exposed, including:
- Open-air doors
- Conservatories
- Balcony railings
- Stair railings
- Anti-bird collision print
Indoor applications that require a high level of environmental resistance including:
- Bathrooms
- Kitchens
- Pools and spas
- Industrial settings
SLIP-RESISTANT CERAMIC INKS FOR DIGITAL PRINTING ON ARCHITECTURAL GLASS
Our Slip-Resistant inks create a non-abrasive smooth surface on glass that is anti-slip when wet or dry, ensuring safety and comfort when walking barefoot.
The chemical resistance of these inks protect glass from being corroded by pool chemicals or seawater, making it ideal for a wide range of interior and exterior flooring applications.
Ferro's Slip-Resistant inks for digital printing on architectural glass comply with industry standards for anti-slip glass coatings and offer excellent mechanical, environmental, UV, and chemical stability performance.
These properties make them ideal for other applications such as glass roofs, ceilings and ducts, which are not classified as floors but are accessed for maintenance.
- Residential interior flooring and stairs
- Commercial interior flooring and stairs
- Industrial flooring
- Exterior walkways and stairs
- Bathroom flooring
- Kitchen flooring
- Pool and spa area flooring
- Glass roofs and ceilings
- Glass ducts requiring maintenance crew access
ANTI-STICK INKS FOR DIGITAL PRINTING ON ARCHITECTURAL GLASS
Ferro Anti-Stick Inks allow digitally printed glass for architectural applications to be bent during the thermal process (firing and/or tempering). This enables full-color digital printing on large glass panels, glass with sharp angles, and glass that will be fired or tempered in furnaces that use molding.
The Anti-Stick inks are available in seven colors: blue, green, white, orange, red, black and yellow which are suitable for both side 1 (S1) and side 2 printing.
- Large glass panels
- Curved glass panels
- Balustrades
- Glass that will be fired/tempered in furnaces using molding
- Curved curtain walls
- Curved shower walls
- Curved windows
