THERMOCHROME EFFECT WATERBORNE COATINGs FOR GLASS
Ferro’s Thermochrome Effect organic waterborne glass coatings complement our complete line of color-rich organic glass coatings to provide a vast selection of colors and decoration possibilities.
We offer Thermochrome Effect glass coatings that are designed to change color when the coated glass comes in contact with warm or cold liquids.
Thermochrome Effect coatings are available in 5 basic colors (magenta, blue, red, black and turquoise) that operate within a cold range at around 15° C, and a warm range of 37° C. Ferro offers Thermochrome as a colored paste that is compatible with our hydro organic glass coating systems that include Hydroglasur, Hydrodecor, Hydrocos, Hydrocont and GLK-As.
All Ferro waterborne special effect coatings offer low-VOC and BPA-free coating options; these technologies can be readily exchanged as needed as a service to of all our customers worldwide.

The Ferro glass painting system consists of basic lacquers and color concentrates that allow for the fast, easy and cost-saving production of individual shades in different gloss degrees. All Pantone® color shades are part of our basic color system.

Custom Color Mixing and Matching
