GlassPrint 2019 brought together the international glass decoration community, in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Ferro, a supporter of GlassPrint since its inception in 2005, was once again excited to take part in this unique European event dedicated to glass decoration. It was an excellent opportunity to see the latest trends and developments for decorating glass and for networking with glass manufacturers, decorators, brand owners, OEMs and other suppliers from 24 countries.

A SHOWCASE OF OUR LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
Ferro joined more than 30 companies in the table-top exhibition hall, where we showed our latest developments in organic coatings and lead-free glass enamels for decorating flat and hollow glass. Our new organic color options for thermoplastic and UV-curing application proved to be of considerable interest.
Also featured were the latest novel organic colors and coatings developed by our recent acquisitions, Pinturas Benicarlo, based in Spain and Diegel, headquartered in Germany.

Ferro’s technical experts were on-hand to walk delegates through the various opportunities our colors offer.
Additionally, Alexandra Cordes, our European Container Glass Technical Services Manager delivered a paper at the conference titled “Adding Value for Hollow Glass Decoration”.
Summarizing Ferro’s impact on the event, Cordes commented: “Through direct decoration of Ferro materials on glass packaging, major global drinks brands can differentiate their products and provide stand-out shelf appeal. To this end, GlassPrint provided us with a wonderful showcase to present our latest developments, and was a good networking opportunity for us, with important companies from the whole value chain for glass decoration in attendance.”
